As a good Venezuelan I love arepas, all kinds of arepas, sweet, roasted, fried, and many of the fillings are common at each Venezuelan table.
I wanted to bring something different to the blog, there are thousands of common stuffing recipes for arepas. But if we try something different?, something that mixes the Italian with the Venezuelan. Today I will show you how to make a pizza arepa
There are several ways to prepare the pizza arepa, there are those who make the dough very thin and use it as a base to make the pizza, but this time we will try something different.

pizza arepa ingredients
- Mozzarella cheese
- 1 package of White Instant Corn Flour (35.2 oz), preferably Harina P.A.N.
- 1 tomato
- Red sauce
- make the arepas open in half
- place the red sauce and cheese
- place the other ingredients like garlic, pepperoni,
- place the arepas in the oven at 350 for 7 minutes
- Once it’s ready, take it out of the oven and put the basil and olive oil

My suggestion is to prepare this recipe for some snack type small arepitas, the children love it and it is a different flavor, they are not the common ingredients that are eaten with the arepa, if you want to surprise your friends or family I recommend these pizza arepa and they are very easy to prepare.
