Writing about Italian food is my favorite thing to do, and the word healthy or vegetarian sounds very distant, but NO! Of course it’s possible. Today I’m going to show you how to make a broccoli pesto pasta.
You’re wondering if it’s healthy? Yes, of course, but there are many ways to prepare this dish.
My family loves broccoli I love pasta so I found a way to mix those two flavors. As sometimes I have stomach problems (heartburn) I don’t like to eat red sauce but rarely, and many Italian dishes have red sauce and garlic
Let’s see what you can use to prepare this dish
ingredients
- 2 cup of broccoli
- 2 spring Onion
- tablespoons of corn
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 4 tablespoons of basil
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
Broccoli pesto pasta

Ingredients
- 2 cup of broccoli
- 2 spring Onion
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 4 tablespoons of basil
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons of corn
Instructions
- Boil water and place the broccoli for 8 minutes
- cut the tomato and broccoli into small pieces
- stir-fry the spring onion , with a little sugar and soy sauce to taste for 5 min
- blend the basil, garlic and olive oil to make pesto, salt and pepper to taste
- cook the pasta and then fry the broccoli, corn and tomato together with the pasta for 5 minutes
- Place the pesto sauce with the pasta and let it rest for 2 minutes before serving
